Who We Are

Evan Shoemake, founder of B-Major Academy and B-Major Productions, is a native of North Georgia who spent the past twenty years soaking up experiences and learning skills in Nashville, New York, Atlanta and Europe. Initially a performer himself, Evan eventually put away the greasepaint to focus on the creative and administrative elements of the performing arts, working with Grammy-nominated singer-songwriters in Nashville, as a union rep working with Tony Award winning directors, choreographers, actors and musicians in New York City with additional work with dancers and visual artists. Evan has worked with high school student theatrical productions as well as taught voice and audition classes for children in the North Georgia area. He has relocated to the region in an effort to bring professional theatre and theatre education not just to students pursuing performance but also to offer creative outlets to the community.
